Rural India is seeing faster economic recovery than urban, this report shows why

Nielsen’s latest report revealed that rural areas are driving the growth for our country. It saw 3X growth in June than the rest of India. Lower COVID incidence, government stimulus and agricultural impetus are boosting the rural consumer sentiment. The report further explains the key reasons behind this growth:
- Lower COVID cases in Rural
- Reverse migration expected to give a positive uptick

- Rural disbursement more than 2X of same period last year
