TAM’s latest report has a few silver linings for the ad industry. Television and digital mediums have seen an uptick in ad volume and ad insertions by 46% and 27% respectively in June’20 over May’20.

The number of brands that advertised on TV in June also went up to 2,811 from 2,713 in May’20.

Top 50 advertisers accounted for nearly 75% share on TV. Hindustan Unilever, Reckitt Benckiser and Procter & Gamble continued to grab the top 3 spots.
