Chick-fil-A is giving away free food on Tuesday.

On July 9, Chick-fil-A is hosting its annual Cow Appreciation Day. Any customer who shows up at a Chick-fil-A location dressed as a cow can get a free entrée at any of Chick-fil-A's more than 2,400 stores across the US.

Customers can show up to their local Chick-fil-A between opening and 7 p.m. to receive their free food. For people who may be reluctant to wear a full cow costume, a cow-themed accessory will be deemed sufficient to receive free food.

Chick-fil-A cow appreciation

Chick-fil-A is giving away free breakfast options, including the chicken biscuit, the four-count of Chick-n-Minis, and the hash brown scramble bowl. Most lunch entrées, except salads, are available as part of the giveaway - including chicken sandwiches, chicken nuggets, and Chick-n-Strips.

For children, Kid's Meals featuring Chick-n-Strips and nuggets (both traditional and grilled) are also available.

This is the fifteenth year that Chick-fil-A has celebrated Cow Appreciation Day. Last year, 1.95 million people participated in the event.
