Due to a mid-year CEO switch in 2015, Twitter split its security costs among two CEOs. Former CEO Dick Costolo cost the company $43,424 to protect in 2015. Jack Dorsey's security details cost $68,506.

In 2014, Twitter also paid for security for some of its other executives. Anthony Noto, Alex Roetter and Kevin Weil were protected for $22,560, $25,897, and $14,497, respectively, for 2014.

Rather than identifying her security costs, IBM lists costs of security under other compensation, which includes ground transportation, an annual physical, family attendance at IBM events, and other personal expenses. In 2015, Rometty's "Other Compensation" totaled $866,621, which of that $248,827 was use of company aircraft. That means her security costs alongside all those other expenses could be up to $617,794.
