Lok Sabha Election 2019: Total seats in Lakshadweep

Lakshadweep, the smallest union territory of India is a group of Islands located in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Kerala. Known for its scintillating natural beauty, Lakshadweep covers an area of 32 sq km. Lakshadweep has one Lok Sabha constituency and hence can give one seat for the parliament. As per the Election Commission’s notice, the state will see the 2019 Lok Sabha polling on April 11 during the first phase of elections across the country. The counting of votes will happen on May 23 across the country and the results will be declared on the same day.

However, the actual turn out of the polls will come to surface only when the results are out on May 23, 2019. Meanwhile the different parties are engaged in an active campaigning to grab this available seat.
