Here's what analysts are expecting:
- EPS: -$0.15
- Revenues: $19.34 billion
Besides its new smartphone, Amazon launched a bunch of other products this year, including a TV streaming box, an unlimited e-book subscription service, and a music-streaming service. Investors have historically been extremely patient with Amazon's razor-thin margins, buying into CEO Jeff Bezos assurance that Amazon is investing in the longterm. However, shares have been down 10% this year, showing that they might be ready to put pressure on the company to start showing a profit.
Disclosure: Jeff Bezos is an investor in Business Insider through his personal investment company Bezos Expeditions.
