The best Zoom keyboard shortcuts you can use to navigate seamlessly on the video-conferencing platform
  • You can use Zoom keyboard shortcuts to more easily accomplish common tasks and access settings on the video-conferencing platform.
  • Using keyboard shortcuts in Zoom helps you keep your hand off the mouse and move faster.
  • Here are the most useful and productive keyboard shortcuts for Zoom whether you're using the desktop app for Windows or Mac, or an external keyboard connected to an iOS device.

As video conferencing becomes a routine alternative to face-to-face meetings, you're probably spending more and more time using apps like Zoom.

Just like any other program, Zoom has its share of keyboard shortcuts to help you work more efficiently without frequently resorting to the mouse. Here are the top keyboard shortcuts for using on Zoom on your PC, Mac, and iPhone.

How to view and edit keyboard shortcuts in the Zoom desktop app

The Zoom app has a convenient complete list of keyboard shortcuts. To see them, do this:

1. Start the Zoom app.

2. Click the "Settings" icon, which you can find under your profile picture on Zoom's home screen. Alternatively, you can click your profile picture and then click "Settings."

3. In the navigation pane on the left of the "Settings" window, click "Keyboard Shortcuts."

You can do more than just view shortcuts here; you can modify them as well. To edit a shortcut, simply click in the "Shortcut" field and type the shortcut you prefer. You can enter any shortcut using just a single key, or modify it with Alt, Ctrl, or Shift (or, on a Mac: Command, Ctrl, or Shift). You can't use the Windows key as a modifier, though.

If you make a mistake while entering a shortcut, press Esc before you click away to a different field to revert to the previous key combination. Or, click "Restore Defaults" to revert all shortcuts back to their default at any time.
