OnePlus Nord 3 specs leaked, a foldable phone foray is imminent too

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus recently revealed that it will launch a Nord smartphone in July. The company is expected to unveil two smartphones – the Nord 3 and the Nord CE 3 – in India next month.

There have been several leaks regarding the Nord 3 and Nord CE 3 over the past few months, giving us an idea about the yet-to-be-launched devices. The upcoming smartphones will be priced higher than the Nord CE 3 Lite, which was launched in April 2023.

OnePlus Nord 3 expected specifications


The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to run on Android 13 out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS 13 on top. It is expected to feature a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Coming to the optics, the device is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, the device is expected to sport a 16MP selfie camera.

The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and offers 80W fast charging support.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 expected specifications


The OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to feature a slightly smaller 6.72-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Just like the Nord 3, it is expected to run on Android 13 out of the box with the company’s OxygenOS 13 on top.

The Nord CE 3 is expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 782G chipset with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.

Coming to the camera department, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 is expected to feature a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, the device is expected to be equipped with a 16MP selfie camera.

The Nord CE 3 is expected to be equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, just like the Nord 3.

As per the leaked specifications, the biggest difference in the two devices seems to be in terms of the display and the processor.

OnePlus V Fold



The Nord 3 and Nord CE 3 are not the only upcoming OnePlus devices that have been leaked. The company’s upcoming foldable phone, the OnePlus V Fold, which will take on foldable phones from other companies like Samsung and Oppo, has also been spotted.

The renders reveal that the device will feature a sleek design, unlike other foldable phones in the market. It will come with a large circular camera module with Hasselblad cameras.

While the company has not revealed the launch date, it had earlier said that its foldable phone will be launched in Q3 2023.
