Apple iPhone 6 And 6 Plus India Price Revealed

Have you been waiting anxiously for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus? Well, now you’ve a reason to cheer up. You can pre-order the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from October 7, and the phones will start retailing from October 17.

The iPhone 6 16GB variant will cost Rs 53,500, 64 GB is for Rs 62,500 and 128GB will set you down by Rs 71,500. While the iPhone 6 Plus is available for Rs 62,500 for 16GB, Rs 71,500 for 64 GB and Rs 80,500 for 128GB version

In a press statement, Apple has said, "iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will be available in India beginning Friday, October 17, from an expansive network of Apple authorized resellers. Customers can pre-order iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus beginning Tuesday, October 7".

Both iPhone 6 and 6 Plus have got mixed reviews so far, but the devices have been selling like hot cakes in US. Within 24 hours of going live, these devices have garnered over 4 million pre-orders and amassed sales of over 10 million units in the opening weekend.

Most smartphone manufacturers are very bullish in the Indian market and Apple has made a strategic (as well as a smarter) move by pushing India amongst the first countries to get the latest iPhone. The arch-rival Samsung has been losing some ground in Indian market, and Apple can get the first-mover advantage by tapping into the premium smartphone market before Samsung brings Note 4 to India.

Just to recap, the Apple iPhone 6 and 6 Plus packs in the latest Apple A8 processor with 64-bit architecture and M8 second-generation motion coprocessor. In terms of internal storage, they are available in 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB versions.

The iPhone 6 sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 750x1334 pixels, while the iPhone 6 Plus features a 5.5-inch Retina HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels.

In terms of camera, Apple has included an 8-megapixel iSight rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera for both the iPhones. Both the iPhone 6 and 6Plus also come with a Touch ID home button fingerprint sensor.
