Names of Coronavirus hotspots and containment zones in Hyderabad, Telangana

  • Several areas in Telangana have been declared as containment zones.

The nationwide lockdown has been extended till May 31 and the state government has announced several relaxations except in containment zones.



There has been a considerable increase in coronavirus cases in Telangana over the past few days and a majority of the cases are linked to the Tablighi Jamaat event in Nizamuddin.

So far, the state has reported 1,634 coronavirus cases, out of which 38 patients have expired and 1,011 patients have recovered.

Here are the Coronavirus hotspots in Telangana

To contain the spread of Coronavirus, several hotspots or containment zones have been identified in the state. Hyderabad, which has reported the highest cases in the state currently has 12 containment zones.
