How to add and remove titles from your Hulu watchlist or My Stuff section — or import your watchlist

The ability to add and remove shows and movies from your Hulu watchlist depends on which app version you're using.
Older versions of Hulu will have a "Watchlist," but newer versions have a "My Stuff" section to track shows you are watching.
If you have a Watchlist, shows you watch are added automatically, though you can also add and remove items manually from the show's details page.
To add and remove shows in My Stuff, use the control for My Stuff in the show's details page.

Hulu's undergone a few updates since first hitting the streaming scene in 2007. One big feature addition that is regularly updated is the watchlist.

The older, "classic" Hulu app, which is only available on a limited number of devices, has an automatically generated Watchlist feature that you can use to track the shows you've saved and recently watched.

The classic app's Watchlist keeps itself up to date, so when you watch a show, Hulu adds it to your watchlist. You can also add and remove shows and movies from the Watchlist. To know whether you have the classic Hulu app, check to see if you only have access to Hulu's streaming video library – not Hulu live TV, HBO, Cinemax, or other services.

However, most people have the latest Hulu app, which has a My Stuff feature instead. My Stuff works much the same way – you can add shows and movies to the My Stuff section to keep track of the programs you are watching and want to complete.

Shows aren't automatically added to My Stuff, so you need to manually add any shows you want to save to your collection. The process for doing this is similar, regardless of whether you are using the Hulu website or the Hulu app on your smart TV or mobile device.

If you have a collection of shows in your Watchlist from the classic version of the Hulu app, you can also import those shows all at once into the My Stuff section of the latest version of Hulu, using the Hulu website.
