OnePlus is finally bringing a successor to its much loved Q-series of QLED TV alongside the OnePlus 11 and Buds Pro. The OnePlus Q1 Pro 55 inch marked the company's entry into the TV market back in 2019 but it didn't bring an update to its premium range after that. Company's TV portfolio was succeeded by more affordable Y and U series of LED TVs over the years, but the case is soon going to change.

The company has announced that it is adding the OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro to its portfolio during the Cloud 11 launch on Feb 7 in India. As the name suggests, it'll be a premium TV since Q-series is for its QLED TVs. The other existing products in the series are the OnePlus TV Q1 and Q1 Pro. The Q1 55-inch and the Pro were launched at a hefty price and got several price drops later, and we expect the 65-inch TV to have a premium price tag as well. The Q1 and Q1 Pro featured a sliding soundbar, gathering a lot of attention, it'll be interesting to see if that still exists on the upcoming model.

In the announcement, the founder of OnePlus, Pete Lau, said, “The new OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro is set to provide a series of superior hardware and software features, while also serving as the hub for a premium, smarter connected ecosystem experience. With the new flagship OnePlus TV, we aim to redefine benchmarks in the smart TV industry towards unparalleled quality and burdenless user experience.”

The detailed specification of the upcoming TV haven’t been shared as of yet but considering the Pete Lau comment we can assume, the upcoming Q series TV could feature flagship hardware and software along with a smarter and more connected ecosystem.

OnePlus TV 65 Q2 Pro: Expected features

If rumors are true, the TV 65 Q2 Pro could feature a 65- inch QLED display coupled with a 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Audio will be handled by a 70W speaker tuned by Dolby Atmos. Other than this, it may feature 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
