In Austin, Texas, a line snaked down the block outside the at-capacity McDonald's VIP lounge as people waited for a chance to try the new menu items: the Maple Bacon Dijon burger and the Chicken Pico Guacamole sandwiches.
So far these toppings, which are interchangeable on chicken or burgers alike, have only been tested in San Diego locations, although the fast food chain is considering rolling out the deluxe items nationwide.
