Instagram will now let you make 60 second videos

Previously, you could only post 30 second pieces.
This follows Instagram's recent decision to let you see the number of views a video gets before its number of likes. It also aligns with its decision start allowing advertisers to upload 60 second clips in February as it continues to try to suck advertising dollars from TV.
The photo-sharing social network recently said that the time its users spend watching video has increased by more than 40% in the last six months.
By giving people the option to create longer clips, that time spent will, theoretically, increase even more.
To commemorate the news, Instagram put together a video highlighting some of its top video creators:
