Multiple-device support

Most Indians have two SIMs and like me, if you want to use WhatsApp for both SIM cards, you no longer have to use two phones. WhatsApp has introduced multiple device support, which allows you to use multiple WhatsApp accounts on a single phone.

Edit message

WhatsApp also added the much-requested edit message feature, allowing users to edit their sent messages for a small period of time. This allows you to correct your typos and grammatical errors, without having to delete the message. To prevent abuse, edited messages will show a “edited” tag.

Chat lock

Chat lock is another good feature that was introduced in 2023. It allows you to lock your chats individually. If you do not wish to put an app lock on WhatsApp and only wish to lock a specific person’s chat, this feature comes in handy.
